  oly_35_rc_front_lens_4.jpg - With the ring off, the front assembly can simply be rotated counter-clockwise, raising it out of the helicoid. Be sure that the area around the element is very clean, as the shutter is now revealed when the element is raised out of the assembly. You don't want anything extra on one of the most sensitive parts of the rangefinder.
